We deeply care about providing pressed florals of the highest quality and craftsmanship. Therefore, we must emphasize the importance of starting the process with the highest possible material quality. Using the appropriately shipping conditions for your florals is one of the best ways to ensure a high quality final product. Therefore, we recommend using the guide below to help ensure your florals arrive to us in the best possible condition.
- GATHER MATERIALS
- Client information sheet (Click the button above to download a printable PDF of the client information sheet)
- A box adequately sized to fit your florals inside
- A smaller box to act as a vase base that will hold your floral stems in place during shipping (Optional, but recommended to preserve the shape of your florals during shipping)
- Packing paper or peanuts (We do not recommend using bubble wrap or plastic).
- Rubber Band
- Disposable ice packs (you can find disposable ice packs at most department stores and we highly recommend including them in the packaging, especially if you plan to ship during warmer months of the year.)
- Plastic bag (sandwich, grocery, etc.)
- STEM PREP: CUT AND WRAP
- Freshly cut the stems to fit the box height (please remember to remove any pendants/ribbons/papers you want to keep before shipping)
- Dampen a paper towel and use it to cover ONLY the stems. Then wrap the paper towel-covered stems with the plastic bag and secure it with a rubber band.
- BOXING THE BLOOMS
- If you have the optional smaller vase-size box, insert the wrapped stems through a hole cut into the top of the box to stabilize them during shipping.
- Place your florals inside of the shipping box.
- Insert the disposable ice packs.
- ADD PACKING FILLER AND PRINTED CLIENT INFORMATION FORM
- Fill in the remaining space with packing paper or peanuts. (We highly recommend you do not use bubble wrap or any other plastics.)
- Fill out and insert the printed client information PDF into the box.
- SHIP YOUR FLORALS
- Ship the box to us using UPS or FedEx using the address that sent to your email after you order a frame.
- Note: We recommend overnight or 1-2 day shipping to maintain your florals in the best possible condition for preservation.
